... and to all a good night

Merry Christmas all, especially those of you stationed in a Middle Eastern desert. we're celebrating Christmas at 305 with a few bottles of wine (water for mom) and some Christmas CDs ... good times. obviously, better if our eldest bro were home (can't wait for next year). so much to be thankful for this year - God willing, will is returning in a few weeks, Mr. Wons' youngest is getting married, David and Liese are expecting(!), i just got a house yesterday. will, i hope the other USMC captains aren't taking too much of your money in texas hold 'em, i'll give you some lessons when you get back :)
i remember one particular Christmas eve from long ago, laying in bed, listening for reindoors on the roof and not being able to sleep. early in the morning, my older brother was egging me on to see what presents were waiting for us downstairs. i passed, afraid i'd run into a fat man in a red suit ... will, the adventurous one, went and came back telling of large teddy bears and other presents. such is Christmas - sharing happy memories and making new ones. can't wait for you to get back, will ... much love from all of us here ... Merry Christmas, matt.
