my life sucks, i'm boring ...

hey there bloggers, apologies for the lack of posting, things have been quite busy and i'm now without internet access (or TV) at home. i had to listen to the presidential debates on radio so i know how mom, dad and mr wons felt growing up hearing ol' FDR talk about the depression on the transistor radio or listening intently as babe ruth strode to the plate ...
yes, well, much to report on -
my birthday was last week. my girlfriend, cath, threw a surprise party for me - quite a success, i was surprised. heather was there, as were friends from high school, college, work. they came from all over the place - sanfran, boston, chicago, pittsburgh, ballamer. it was crazy, i felt like i was in a dream with all these friends in the same place. cath did an amazing job, i half-expected will to be there, as well. (i guess he had other plans. thx for nothing, bro). regardless, one of the best nights of my life.
the next day, we travelled to camp hill for another surprise party - my mom's . the architect, in this case, was my dad. he too did a masterful job - mom was def surprised and delighted to see everyone, including three of her four siblings.
i have a new job - i'm now working at the house of representatives on a project to modernize the computer infrastructure. its a good time, i like the folks i'm working with, i share a corner office with a view and i can still ride my bike to work. plus, they set a limit on my weekly hours (40), which is slightly above my personal limit (30). we're still negotiating that ...
i ran the USMC 1/2 marathon a few weeks ago. just started running a few months ago, i used to hate running, now i'm hooked. i'm shooting for the full 26.2 next year ...
in closing, i would reiterate mr wons' urge for more postings ... i'm pretty sure no one finds my words interesting and thats never stopped me. ... hope this finds everyone well. will, stay safe and much love ...
