long time no blog

greetings all -
hope that the fall is treating everyone right nice - glad to hear that it's making the desert more bearable.
as per rachel and charece, san diego just about turned upside down in a full week of rain - drivers seem to think it's snow and ice, even though everyone here is actually from some other part of the country? it was good to get some rain since this is about the time that san diego was up in flames last year.
the trip back east for 2 surprise parties was well worth it - both surprisees were unsuspecting, and now i'm inspired to have a surprise party for nick next month...hopefully it turns out just as well.
nick's oldest brother got married in la last weekend, got to meet everyone from both sides of the family in one day - everyone was really nice, AND there was an open bar, thank goodness:) uhhh, just kidding.
i'm fixing to go to a karl denson show in a few minutes, and plans for the evening include getting jiggy with it.
looking forward to rachel's partay next weekend - should be oodles of fun to celebrate halloween and a bday!
