a dumbass with good luck

so nick and i are gearing up for our labor day trip up to seattle, when i noticed that i had only been charged for one ticket, but i had ordered 2. turns out, i had only ordered one, well past midnight some night a few weeks ago. the same flight for $208 was $420 on monday when i realized this. and all flights at this point were 400+. zoinks.

so i was lamenting my self-created misfortune at work on tuesday, when my boss, my wonderful, wonderful boss, hands me a free ticket voucher for southwest! so nick and i won't be on the same flight, but it's better than shelling out 400 bones. and now i owe him a weekend of free babysitting - still a good bargain, i reckon :)

i hope everyone is gearing up for a nice, long weekend. will, i don't suppose they give you vacation for labor day? ah well, i'll take lots of pics and perhaps get some good decorating ideas from lynn while we're up there.

by the way, everyone, i got the chondroiton for will. from costco, so he should be good for a while.
