The Weekly Update 8/16/2004
Greetings to one and all. And a hearty welcome to new bloggers.
it's a balmy 70 in new york. rain. saturday night was 100% humidity. pure bliss.
we have successfully moved into our new abode. boy oh boy. what a pain in the buttocks that was. a lot of unpacking to do, but you kids are going to love it.
ok. so what strange and enticing morsels of news do we have this week....
Aliens Vs Predator was the number one movie this week, raking in a nice $38mill. reports on the movie are note good. seeing the originals were "r" rated and this is a pg-13, word on the street is that it's plain crap. be warned. I'm going to see it anyway.
Olympic news - South Africa spoiled the expected duel between the United States and Australia in the 400-meter freestyle relay Sunday night, winning the gold medal in world-record time and assuring that Michael Phelps won't surpass Mark Spitz's record of seven Olympic golds.
Harry Potter" novelist J.K. Rowling says her young hero will survive to the seventh book in her series about the young wizard, but refused to say whether he would reach adulthood.

coooooozin thanks for the update, you must post some pics of the new pad, how far a haul is it into Manhattan for me when i visit / i mean for you guys each day to go to work!!!
