The Weekly Update 8/11/2004

Greetings fellow bloggers. Here is your weekly update. Again, my apologies for the delay.

New York is a not too shabby 75 with chances of thunder showers later on today.

Tom Cruise's Collateral was the number one movie taking in a paltry $24 million bucks this weekend. Oddly enough this has been a critically appluaded movie. word has it that the general cinema going population do not want to see Tommy as a bad guy. It's good one and he's a good bad guy. I recommend it.

Sony and Microsoft are gearing up for the next generation console battle, Playstation 3 and XBox 2. Rumor has it that Bill Gates may present XBox 2 at CES (consumer electronics Association) in January 2005 in Vegas with Sony presenting the specs for their Playstation 3 in March of the same year.

How about the 11-yr old boy in Texas, attacked by a shark, and after
watching Shark Week on Discovery Channel the evening before, knew where
to hit the shark to make him let go! A smart and brave little kid
watching a smart series - as it turned out, a potentially lifesaving
combination. And they say TV's not good for you.

and for a special treat for being patient, we will have two odd links this week.
